Getting a Cop on your side has never been so good

That’s all Poppy Calloway needed. Detective Jason de Sanges to be on her side but of course he would not. Poppy would not give up on her group of kids and she was able to get Jase to help them out. Poppy’s only concern was to give these kids a chance who are coming too close to breaking the law. But Poppy is going to be endanger along with the kids.

Jason de Sanges is a good detective but he doesn’t want to help these kids because he knows they are already damaged or are they? Jase gets a second look at them and Poppy. Jase and Poppy are together with the kids but when the kids are away passion heats up between the two.

Susan Andersen’s series Sisterhood Diaries¬†Bending the Rules¬†is the second book to the series and sizzles as the two characters bicker back and fourth endlessly throughout the book. But the bickering turns to passion and passion grows to love at least on oneside.

I liked the story dialogue with the kids and the troubles they encountered. The story was not just about the two authority figures, Poppy and Jase. I did like how the two characters were polar opposites. Each gave something the other was missing so everything balanced.

I am interested to read how the series started and how it ends with the first and third book.
